Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 3, 2026

This policy explains what MyHandyToolLab does and does not do with information when you use the site. Not every tool is fully client-side; please read the sections below carefully.

1. Data processing

Client-side tools. Many calculators, converters, and utilities run in your browser. For those tools, your inputs and uploaded files are processed locally on your device and are not stored by us as a lasting copy on our servers.

Downloader / fetch tools. Some tools accept a public URL and request that link (or related public endpoints) so you can download media. That involves network requests to third-party sources. We do not operate a personal media library for you, but temporary processing or proxying may occur to complete the request you initiated. Only use these tools with content you are allowed to access.

Site operation. Like most websites, our hosting and infrastructure providers may process standard technical data such as IP addresses, user-agent strings, and request logs needed to deliver pages, prevent abuse, and keep the service available.

2. Cookies and local storage

We may use browser local storage or similar mechanisms for preferences such as theme (light/dark). Essential cookies or similar technologies may be used by our hosting or security layers.

If third-party advertising is enabled on the site, those partners may set their own cookies or use similar technologies. See the advertising section below.

3. Third-party advertising

To help keep MyHandyToolLab available, the site may display ads from third-party networks (for example Google AdSense or similar partners). Ad networks may set cookies, read device or browser information, and use data about your visits to this or other sites to show ads — including personalized ads where allowed by law and your settings.

You can often limit personalized advertising through your browser settings, device privacy controls, or industry opt-out pages such as the Network Advertising Initiative or Your Online Choices (where available). Blocking ads or cookies may affect how the site looks or functions.

4. Your rights (GDPR / CCPA and similar)

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information we hold about you; to object to or restrict certain processing; and to opt out of “sale” or “sharing” of personal information as those terms are defined under laws such as the CCPA/CPRA. For purely client-side tool inputs that never reach us, there may be nothing for us to retrieve or delete.

To exercise applicable rights, contact us at the email below. We may need to verify your request. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in your region.

5. Data retention

We do not intentionally retain the contents of client-side tool sessions. Technical logs, contact messages you send us, and any temporary data needed for download or hosting operations are kept only as long as reasonably needed for security, delivery, legal compliance, or responding to your request — then deleted or anonymized where practical.

6. Children

MyHandyToolLab is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

7. Contact
