About this tool

Merge PDF lets you stack several PDFs into a single file for job applications, school submissions, or paperwork packs. Add files, reorder them, then download one combined PDF. Merging uses pdf-lib in your browser so the documents are not uploaded to our servers for the merge step. Password-protected files need the password removed first.

How to use

  1. 1

    Add PDFs

Select or drop two or more PDF files.

  2. 2

    Reorder

Use the up/down controls so files appear in the right sequence.

  3. 3

    Merge & download

Click Merge, then download the combined PDF.

Limitations

  • •Password-protected PDFs are not merged until unlocked.
  • •Very large combined sizes may hit browser memory limits on phones.
  • •Bookmarks and some interactive form features may not carry over perfectly.

Tips & common mistakes

  • •Put the cover letter or form first, then certificates, by reordering the list.
  • •If merge fails on one file, try re-saving that PDF from a reader and add it again.
